My cat

My cat knew me and I knew her

I also knew others with fur

I knew this yard and the outdoors

She knew this yard and the kitchen floors

My cat knows chicken beef and fish while I can have any dish

The truth is lo and behold

This little kitty’s getting old

Her whole entire universe

Is part of mine but not the whole

The truth is and listen close

My lovely cat has nobody else

I’m not nearly thirty four

My cat is at least sixty four

So cuddle her while you can
